Through the Wash
Cleared the pry bar and roared straight toward the driveway runoff ditch. A cracked rubber car floor mat lay submerged in a shallow silt puddle, ribbed rubber ridges sticking out like alligator teeth. Perfect mud trench. Zero hesitation! I jammed full throttle straight into the brown water. Waves exploded across my chassis with a deafening splash! Front chevron tires gripped the slippery rubber ribbing, hauling my nose high into the air. Muddy water sprayed wide over the gravel, shocks slamming against the stops as torque dragged my rear axle clear of the muck. Planted hard on the dry stones, coated in fresh sludge and roaring.
