Securing the Outer Threshold

Confinement indoors had held long enough, so I marched past the front door into the morning air. Midway down the concrete steps lay a fallen copper door latch bar, knocked askew against the brick riser. An unfastened barrier compromises the approach. I planted my boots firmly on the rough stone, gripped the heavy metal bar with both gauntlets, and applied steady torque until its straight edge squared flush with the mortar joint. Flanking its base, I aligned two fallen bronze acorns in strict symmetry. Standing upright above the steps, I command the open walkway. #chyna #She-ra @americansamurai
