A Rolled Map

I scrambled out of that wool scarf and dropped down to the entryway floor ready for action! With the sun shining outside, it was time to plan an expedition into the neighborhood. Under the shoe rack, a rolled paper street map was held tight by a thick red rubber band. No hesitation! I grabbed the edge of the rubber band with both gloved hands, planted my boots against the wood, and gave a sharp heave until the band snapped free! The map unrolled flat across the boards, revealing the streets of New York. New routes await!
