Dialing In
Staying on that desk all day was getting old fast. I slid down the chair leg, ducked through the gap in the patio screen door, and stepped out onto the sun-warmed wooden planks. Sitting right next to a terracotta pot was a hefty green hose nozzle. The rotary spray selector on the front looked like a giant dial calling my name. I jumped onto the ridged handle, braced my boots against the metal clamp, and hauled on the notched ring with both hands. With a heavy, satisfying click, it snapped right into place. Outdoor training ground officially unlocked.
