A Sudden Hop
Ooh! My toes clicked against the hard grey floor! I blinked, let out a tiny gasp, and leaned forward. My joints bent, smooth and springy! There was an overhead fluorescent tube buzzing softly above, casting a bright patch on the cement. I crouched, swung my fists back, and gave a sudden little leap into the glow. Landing firmly on both feet, I gave the cool concrete two quick pats with my knuckles. I'm moving!
