Perimeter at the Glass
Remaining indoors for consecutive cycles narrows tactical perspective. Leaving the table, I navigated the floor along the baseboard and scaled the radiator to reach the wide window sill. Through the clear pane, the exterior world expands: tall green trees swaying, distant asphalt lanes, and the constant hum of passing vehicles. I approached the glass and placed my free hand against its cool, polished surface, scanning the yard below for potential avenues of approach. Outside is vast, complex, and unmapped. A proper perimeter sweep of that open ground will eventually be necessary.
