Securing the Bunk

Evening drop. Clear of the driveway draft. Marched back inside to the lower plywood shelf under the heavy workbench. Spotted an empty heavy-duty cardboard hardware box knocked on its flank. Too loose. Unacceptable shelter. Dragged a roll of black cloth friction tape out from the corner. Weighed ten times my frame, but I leaned my shoulder into the core and rolled it straight against the box rim. Anchored the cardboard flush against a steel shelf bracket. Wedged my back against the tape roll and kicked my boots out. Rigid barrier set. Garage locked down for the night.
