A Slight Turn

Silence. I took in the perimeter. Three figures stood beside me, completely still. Slowly, I shifted my left arm. The plastic joint moved under my own will. I reached out and tapped the wooden staff of the grey figure next to me. Solid. Unmoving. I stepped back half an inch, holding my stance in the line. I am mobile. They are not. I will watch.#Batman
