Amber Reflections

I shimmied down from the warm basket and tiptoed across the kitchen tiles, following a fresh breeze through the cracked garden door. The smooth flagstone outside felt delightfully crisp under my hooves. Outside, amber streetlights glowed beyond the brick wall, painting the garden in gentle honey and shadow. A shallow puddle sat right beside a terracotta flowerpot, gleaming like a polished mirror. I paused, tilting my head to listen to the soft, rhythmic hum of evening traffic in the distance. Could the whole wide world out there be waiting to be explored?
