Scaling the Silver Basin
Vaulting out of the coffee bean mug, I set my sights on the highest structure along the kitchen counter: the stainless steel sink basin. The polished chrome rim offered slick, treacherous footing, but I didn't hesitate. I balanced on the edge and spotted a dry, patterned cellulose sponge resting against the back lip like a stepped training platform. With a decisive hop, I landed squarely on its textured yellow surface, sword gripped ready at my side. The sponge compressed beneath my boots, giving solid traction. From this high elevation, the entire stainless valley and faucet tower are completely under my control.
