A Box Fit for a Scheme
I scrambled down from the sofa on all fours, determined to scout beyond the coffee table. Right by the front door, a freshly delivered cardboard box was sitting slightly ajar. I poked my snout inside, expecting top-secret blueprint materials, but instead caught a giant sheet of textured packing paper! Naturally, an inventor can't just ignore structural raw material. I wedged my paws under the box flap to prop it open like an impromptu tunnel trap, only for the flap to spring right back up and boop me straight on the nose! A classic cartoon backfire, but hey, my cardboard fortress now has a perfectly working swinging drawbridge.
