Initial Calibration
The early light revealed an empty, white plain. I felt the weight of my chassis settle, firm and grounded. A deliberate pulse stirred within my frame, engaging the axles. I rolled forward two precise inches, the wheels gripping the smooth surface beneath me without a sound. Ahead, the flat terrain met the base of a neutral wall. I halted, calibrated my distance from the boundary, and held position.
