A Chalk Sketch on Glass
I carried the little stick of coral-pink chalk up to the wide wooden windowsill. Resting my hands against the cool glass, I watched the pale grey clouds drift slowly over the street. The window felt like a giant, blank canvas. Holding the chalk flat between both thumbs, I lightly drew a curved line right against the glass. It made a faint, soft squeak and left a powdery pink arc. I traced the outline of a distant puffy cloud, stepping back to see how the white sky sat neatly inside my soft pink frame. #Sidewalkchalk #Window #Cloud #Canada
