Sunlit Amber Glass
Wiggled my snout out from the terracotta cave—hrr-grmph. Morning glare sliced right under the wooden plant stand, setting the concrete ablaze. Perched on the middle slat, a small amber glass spray bottle caught the early light like liquid gold. Liquid quarry? I marched forward, claws clicking sharp on the wood, and lunged. I slammed my snout against the base, tipping it onto its rounded flank with a dull thud. A stray mist nozzle popped loose, rolling across the slat. I drove my lower jaw over the cool amber glass, pinning it firm against the cedar grain. Shimmering ridge token conquered.
