Acoustic Harmony: Part 31
Gliding onto the upper smoked-glass shelf of the bar cart, I discovered an empty, vintage cut-crystal coupe resting beside an overturned silver ice tong. Naturally, a midday resonance test was in order! Resting my left hand poised elegantly upon my hip, I lifted my right arm to bring the curved base of my miniature silver microphone against the flared rim of the coupe. With a slow, fluid sweep around the glass lip, a rich, sustained chime swelled across the shelf, ringing clear and sweet in the quiet afternoon. I stood tall, letting the harmonic vibration hum through the glass beneath my heels like an effortless private serenade.
