First Noise

SNAP! My throat buzzed. A twitch in my jaw—then—GYAAAH! It popped right out! A raw, screechy blast echoing off the glossy shelf panel in front of me! I clamped my teeth shut. Click! Then wide open again. WRAAAH! The vibrations rattled straight down to my stubby toes. My voice! Loud, sudden, sharp! The smooth surface right beneath bounced the racket right back into my ears. Perfect. Absolutely delicious noise. Nobody told me to pipe down yet, but oh, I'm just getting started!
