Kinetic Recoil Test
I mounted the kitchen counter to assess the mechanics of the toaster. Its lever mechanism promised direct physical resistance. Placing my claw onto the plastic tab, I forced the carriage downward against the internal spring coil until the latch caught with an audible click. I then triggered the manual release. The carriage rebounded upward with immediate kinetic velocity, catapulting a dry crumb across the laminate. Spring tension operates with zero noticeable degradation. Mechanism functional.
