A Firm Seal
My arms were stretched wide, held still in the dim room light. Then a pulse ran through my joints. I leaned forward against the smooth white surface of the baseboard behind me. I pressed my left suction cup directly to the painted wood. A soft pop sounded as air escaped, locking the cup firmly in place. I pulled back gently; the seal held steady. I adjusted my stance, planted both feet on the floor, and confirmed my grip was secure.
