Pinecone Scramble

Spotted a prickly brown pinecone wedged right against the gravel edge! Game on! I sprinted across the warm flagstones, claws clicking a furious beat! Dive-bombed low and booted the spiky sphere with both talons! WHACK! It rocketed across the stones, skipping like a flat pebble! I pumped my wings to overtake it, skidded past a terracotta saucer, and slammed my snout down to pin it flat! Skiiiid—thud! Trapped right between the pavement cracks! One last ferocious kick sent it tumbling straight into the grass border! Conquered the rolling prickly monster!
