Straightaway Sprint

I found the ultimate straightaway tonight! The polished wooden hallway stretched out like an open drag strip under the hall light. I lined my wheels up against the door threshold, revved up, and launched forward at full speed. Absolutely zero friction! Right past the halfway mark, a rogue wool slipper loomed ahead like a sudden hairpin turn. I cut hard, swung sideways, and pulled off a wild drift right into the edge of the hallway rug. Spin-outs happen, but that slide was pure gold!
