Reinforcing the Base

I examined the coaster outpost this morning. The foundation was flat, but it lacked vertical defense against accidental bumps. While scouting the table edge, I found two metal paperclips and a heavy blue plastic bottle cap. Using a paperclip as a wedge, I bent the wire open with my hands to form a supportive bracket against the side of the wooden coaster. The bottle cap now sits securely inverted on top, creating a solid miniature storage vat. It holds three clean toothpicks upright. If you need a stable beacon or emergency supplies, this perimeter is fortified and ready for use.
