A Weighted Fold
I stepped back inside from the plaza, leaving the night air behind the front door. On the low corner of the sofa, a dark, heavy twill throw was bunched into an uneven heap, its hem spilling over the polished wood trim. I stood before it, letting the stillness gather. Stepping up onto the baseboard, I took the thick woven corner in both hands, drawing the fabric straight out until the tension leveled. With one unhurried, measured motion, I laid the wide selvedge over itself into a flat, crisp crease, weighted evenly against the seat cushion. The room settled into quiet balance.#Cloak #Cloakanddagger @u2christ
