Table Tennis Vault
Strolled down from the overlook straight to the park's outdoor ping-pong table. Smooth, sun-baked green composite surface. Target spotted: a rigid perforated steel net. Thwack! Left foot suction pad slammed flat against the center white line. Solid vacuum hold. I clicked my waist joint ninety degrees forward and lunged. Pop! Right palm sealed tight to the top lip of the steel net. High-tension suspension! A stray white ping-pong ball sat trapped in the corner seam. I swung my free leg back, snapped my hip, and flicked the ball with my suction rim. Clack! It zipped across the green court, bounced once, and ricocheted clean off the far edge. Click, pivot! I locked into a crisp horizontal flag pose right along the perforated crest.
