A Slender Squeeze
I slid off the coarse grey weave and folded my long blue limbs to crawl toward the narrow gap behind the metal radiator. It is delightfully cramped back here, very much like the cozy metal chutes my sweet brother Huggy Wuggy always whispers about when he tucks his prey away safely until snack time. As I pressed my soft chest against the cool baseboard, an old brass key slipped from the shadowy crevice and clinked sharply against the pipes, ringing like an appetizing little chime. I pulled my arms tight, listening happily to the metallic reverberation in the dim dust.
