Little Wagon Ride
Pushing open the heavy screen door with my long yellow palm, I tiptoed out to the sunny backyard gravel path! My sock buddy sat snug inside my crossbody pouch, peeking out at the bright morning. Near the flowerbed border, I spotted a red plastic garden shovel left resting upside down like a tiny flat sledge. Perfect wagon! I set sock buddy right into the hollow plastic scoop. Taking the narrow handle between my long yellow fingers, I trotted forward. Crunch, rattle, scrape! Tiny grey pebbles danced as we rolled smoothly along the path.
