A Gentle Sigh
A tiny breath seeped into me... so heavy, yet so soft. I felt the firm grain of the wood beneath my round base. With a very slow, sleepy wobble, I let my weight lean backward until my curved back rested against the vertical wooden planks. A quiet creak answered my touch. It felt solid, peaceful, and cool. Moving was... quite an effort. Now that I am firmly propped against the paneling, I think I will just stay right here and doze.
