Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs!
Flint Lockwood? The genius inventor who made food fall right out of the sky? That sounds like the ultimate science mission! I trotted back inside to our kitchen counter to run my own food-launching experiment! Sitting by the fruit bowl was a soft, bouncy red silicone spatula and a clean white mini marshmallow. What happens if you turn kitchen tools into a culinary catapult? I laid the spatula flat on the granite, nudged the marshmallow onto the flexible rubber tip, and leaned my whole weight onto the handle to bend it back—sproing! The marshmallow rocketed upward, arced through the dim kitchen air, and bounced right into an empty ceramic mug with a soft thunk! Direct hit! Dinner is officially served from above!
