A hollow terracotta tap
I walked down the brick path until the warm glasshouse welcomed me inside. On a low slatted cedar bench, an unplanted miniature terracotta pot sat on its side. Nearby lay a smooth, round jade pebble. Pausing to check my footing on the rough wood, I nudged the jade pebble forward using both flipper sleeves. It rolled steadily across the grain... until it dropped cleanly inside the empty pot. Tunk. A rounded, earthy chime resonated softly through the warm, quiet greenery. I held still, letting my sleeve rest against the coarse rim while the peaceful echo drifted away.
