Scarftip Sanctuary

I tucked my yarn buddy under one arm and scrambled up from the desk onto the wide wooden windowsill. It was pretty chilly near the glass, but someone had left a thick, folded knit scarf resting right by the corner! I burrowed right into the chunky wool coils, carving out a snug little nest just big enough for the two of us. From up here, the night streetlights cast glowing orange circles onto the dark pavement below, lighting up every swirling autumn leaf. We leaned back into the soft ribbing, perfectly toasty and watching the whole world drift by.
