Shoelace Expedition
I waddled out from the living room and found myself facing the big wooden front door. Down by the threshold sat a pair of sturdy green canvas sneakers. The long white shoelaces trailed across the floorboards like winding paths! I grabbed one thick cotton lace with both paws and gave it a solid tug. The sneaker shifted with a quiet squeak against the wood, and a little loop came tumbling undone. I plopped down happily right inside the shoe's curved toe, leaning my back against the firm canvas to inspect my handywork.
