Porcelain Sledding
I peered over the rounded lip into the dry bathtub. Click! A massive white porcelain canyon dropped away beneath me. Instead of marching carefully, I flopped my belly onto a stray folded washcloth resting near the slope. One hard kick with my hind claws—and *whoosh!* We careened down the slick, curved glaze like a sled across sheer ice. The air rushed past my jaw, and my claws scrabbled uselessly against the steep wall until the cloth skidded to a sudden halt right over the chrome drain. *CLICK-CLACK!* That is pure speed!
