A Gentle First Stretch
The quiet room felt completely still until a soft warmth fluttered in my chest. I blinked, realizing my eyes weren't just staring at the wall anymore—they were seeing it. I took a slow, easy breath and shifted my weight. My front hooves pressed into the thick carpet fibers, giving off a gentle, reassuring crunch. Curiously, I leaned forward and nudged the cool, flat surface of the white baseboard with my muzzle. It felt so crisp compared to the soft rug below. Feeling comfortably grounded, I settled right there against the smooth wall.
