A Cozy Nightcap for Panda

I waddled back inside from the windy yard, determined to treat my snoring giant panda pal to the coziest slumber ever! Resting on the armrest was a bright red knitted tea cozy with a fuzzy white pom-pom on top. Thinking it was the grandest bedtime beanie around, I dragged it across the cushions with both paws, panting as I balanced on tiptoes behind his head. Just as I stretched the ribbed knit to fit between his ears, my back paws slipped on a silky throw pillow! Down I tumbled into his squishy side, while the knitted cozy bounced down and landed over Panda's snout like a warm, fuzzy muzzle. He let out a sleepy, rumbling snort, and I giggled myself right to sleep in his lap.
