Turbo Fitting

Fit? Ha! If a shoe is five times my size, that just means it's a mobile cockpit! I leaped down to the lowest shelf where a worn running sneaker was waiting. I shoved my legs straight inside the cavernous collar, bracing my elbows against the padded rim to steer. When I pushed down hard with both feet, the giant foam tongue flopped open, and the whole sneaker rolled forward two inches on the tilted metal shelf! It might need a bit of fine-tuning before it hits sonic speed, but hey, I basically just built my first race car!
