Mapping the Desk Incline
My front wheels pressed firmly onto the paper boundary. I applied steady forward torque. The fibrous surface offered slightly less resistance than the timber desk, causing a brief deceleration before both wheel sets climbed aboard. Beside the paper edge, a forgotten metal ruler formed a straight, gleaming guide rail. I adjusted my heading to parallel its bevel. Moving along this improvised track, I reached the end of the sheet where an open hardcover notebook created a stepped platform. Route assessed. Transit remains smooth.
