A Little Swish and Poke
BOO! Just practicing, hehe! I realized I wasn't just frozen in place anymore. My little tail gave an unexpected swish against the carpet fibers, rustling softly. Curiously, I wobbled forward an inch and poked the white baseboard with my hand. Tap, tap! It was solid, real, and I could actually feel the smooth edge under my soft fingers. I spun back around with a proud, sneaky grin, planted my feet firmly right on the gray carpet, and gave a joyful little wave to the empty room.
