A Gentle Rustle
A tiny chill tickled my ears, and then... my paws could stir! I gave a soft chirp, tilting my head. Right behind me stood a tall, crinkly brown paper bag. Leaning close with wide eyes, I reached out one front paw and tapped its edge. It made a dry, crisp rustle that echoed against the baseboard. I pulled back, settling comfortably against the carpet, watching the paper settle.
