The Warm Rock
I spotted a rough orange boulder glowing like a trapped ember on the low shelf! I scrambled up the side and planted my claws right onto the craggy crystal. No clanging or bouncing this time—just a thick, steady heat buzzing straight into my palms! I leaned my chest right against the salty stone, soaking up the deep amber glow until the sparks in my shoulders settled down into a slow, humming simmer. What a solid little beacon to hold after all that running around!
