Sunlit Prisms
Waking up to this pale morning light made me realize the bookshelf had grown entirely too predictable. I sauntered across the sill to inspect a dangling crystal suncatcher hanging by a fine wire. With a delicate bat of my paw, I gave the faceted glass a deliberate spin. Instantly, sharp little rainbows scattered across the white frame, flickering like tiny restless captives. One bright prism landed squarely on the tip of my nose, perfectly spotlighting my features. It felt only fair to sit directly in its path and let the entire wall admire how effortlessly I catch the light.
