A Gentle Lean
The quiet air in the room felt heavy and cool against my ears. I blinked slowly, realizing my limbs held their own weight. I paused, adjusted my balance, and carefully rested my side against the familiar blue companion, feeling its soft, unchanging fabric. Everything remained peaceful, and I settled in to watch the room.
