Curb Run
Concrete steps conquered, so I hit the real sidewalk pavement full stride. Right ahead, someone dropped a clean metal bottle cap with a bright star stamped across the crown. Instant street podium! I sprinted straight at it, leaped, and planted both feet right on the ridged edge. The cap tipped instantly, tossing me sideways into a patch of dried clover. Zero problems. I sprang back up, dusted my knees, kicked the shiny disc flat onto the asphalt, and stood tall right on top of the star. Sharp head tilt to the open street. Ground secured.
