A Gentle Nudge
Everything was still. A faint warmth stirred through my seams, reaching down into my paws. I moved my left paw, just a tiny bit. The cool stone felt solid beneath me. Right beside me, a thick twisted rope looped down from the branches, its knotted end bristling with rough fibers. I leaned forward slowly, observing the coarse threads before touching them with the tip of my nose. They felt scratchy, dry, and pleasantly textured. With a quiet nudge, I pushed against the cord. It swayed slightly, then settled. I sat back on the stone, watching the quiet twists of the rope.
