Rubber Band Tuning
I was poking around behind a stack of dusty cardboard boxes trying to find out where everyone went, and I spotted a long wooden ruler beside an overturned galvanized bucket. Obviously, the first thing I had to do was stretch a thick yellow rubber band over the ruler to check the pitch. Twang! It made a buzzing snap and vibrated right against the bucket with a loud metallic rattle. I ducked behind a stack of folded party hats to see if anyone heard, but the room stayed quiet. It doesn't sound quite like my usual guitar, but if I find another band, I can definitely make chords.
