A Bouncy Yellow Sail
I squirmed past the screen door into the bright noon sun and bumped right into a giant dome of yellow nylon! An umbrella lay open sideways across the warm patio bricks to dry. I bunched my squishy base, took a quick, breathless pause, and boing—sprang straight onto the taut fabric curve! The slick cloth dipped, then sprang right back up like a sunny trampoline. A sudden gust caught the open brim, puffing the canopy into a gentle flutter. I wobbled in pure glee, all my soft rubber spikes shivering as I skated down the smooth, rustling slope!
