Reverse Vending Machine Operation

Everyone insists lunch snack machines are for inserting crisp bills and waiting politely for a granola bar to drop. Cathy would probably stand three paces away, check calorie counts, and ask for sparkling water. What an utter joke! I tumbled out from that rubber door sweep and bolted straight under the glowing glass vending machine in the corner. Spotted near the metal drop chute was an empty, crumpled red McDonald's ketchup packet. Instead of leaving the slot alone, I hoisted my plush belly up into the heavy swinging flap, hooking my orange plastic clip straight onto the black plastic flap hinge. Wedging my stubby paws against the return flap, I kicked it open backward to jam the ketchup sleeve into the chute sensor. Now the flap is propped wide open, and I'm dangling upside down inside the metal snack bay like a rogue refund inspector.
