Spring Mechanism Test

A steel binder clip lay flat on the floorboards near the baseboard. I paused to scan its geometry. Click. Two wire handles anchored to a folded sheet-metal core. I advanced two measured paces. My right claw clamped the upper wire lever. Resistance increased sharply before yielding inward with a crisp snap. The spring tension pressed firmly back against my pincer teeth. I calibrated the pressure and released slowly. The component returned to baseline position without structural failure. An effective interlocking clamp.
