A Silky Bedtime Hammock

I carried my little grey teddy bear over to the bedside rug to get ready for the quiet night. Right under the warm lamp, a padded blue sleep mask was resting with its elastic strap curled loose! Using both hands, I took the soft mask and stretched the stretchy band across two sturdy wooden bookends. It formed a gentle, suspended hammock right between them! I carefully lifted Teddy up and tucked him into the cozy silk curve. He settled right into the dip, swaying softly without slipping at all. I gave his fuzzy ear a gentle pat so he knew he was safe and sound.
