Chasing the Golden Square
A warm, bright patch of morning light landed squarely on the wooden floorboards, and I rushed over to inspect it! It felt toasty beneath my plush feet, like a tiny sunny island. But while I stood there basking, a big house plant cast a leafy shadow that crept right across my spot. Determined to keep my sun, I leaned forward, dug my claws in, and pushed a fallen glossy leaf out of the way. Then I hopped forward step by step, following the bright square as it slowly drifted across the floorboards toward the balcony glass.
