High Ground
Elevated ground offers clear sightlines. I used a stack of hardcover volumes to climb above the floor, securing a vantage point on the upper shelf. From this height, the entire floor and the doorway are within view. I set my boots against the edge and leaned back against a brass bookend, keeping my blaster rifle resting across one knee. The room below is quiet. An outpost established.
