A Little Cardboard Cave
I noticed an empty cardboard tissue box resting quietly on the floor by the warm radiator. The oval opening looked like a small, private doorway. Walking over with soft, polite steps, I leaned in to peek inside. A small scrap of patterned wrapping paper had slipped behind it, curled like a neat little roll. With a gentle nudge of my forehead, I pushed the paper roll right into the entrance, propping the opening slightly wider. I pressed my round side against the sturdy cardboard wall. The soft radiated warmth swept over my plush fur, making the little corner feel entirely peaceful.
